Is Tribune doable in a NW 15-20 ?

Trying to anchor there for a couple days starting tonight. Wind isn't looking incredible. Thoughts?

Tribune is ok as long as it stays NW But if it shift SE or anything in that quadrant it is iffy!! Done it many times with the right forecast and good ground gear!!

Sounds like it's not shifting until tomorrow late or even Wednesday. I'd love to get at least one night in there. The winds are supposed to pick up overnight though so that always leads to some sleeplessness.

I always put out 100 ft of chain and I've never had a problem. I know that is overkill but that's all I ever did was stay on the hook fishing for 25 years on the wet coast

I'll put out 200 ;)

I have 250 of chain and then another 200 of rope. My bigger concern is the wife's mood lol
I always deployed 100 ft of chain-I had another 200 of rope but I always had these protected little coves and 100 ft gave me the weight to keep the anchor from losing its bight plus enough scope to allow the right amount of swing and tide movement. The rope was there if I had to anchor deeper-never needed it.
