So I was having a conversation with a buddy last night and he stated that after they had caught thier limit on springs they continued to fish on a catch and release basis since the bite was so good. I stated that I didn't think it was legal to do that. I was under the assumtion that once your limit was reached, you would be required to stop fishing for that species. I said I would put it up on the board here to see what the opinions are....
is this legal?

This is legal, you are allowed to keep fishing after you have caught your limit.

Roger that-you must stop after having killed your limit of Steelhead but not other fish.
