is a worm harness in the columbia legal??

can anyone tell me if a worm harness like this one with 2 hooks is legal on the columbia river in castlegar?..are the very effective there,around the dam area?? thanks.

Have used similar (although a little less flashy) and it worked fine.

Since it was purchased locally I imagine it was legal usually only rigs that are designed to catch more than one fish at a time are banned.

Single barbless only. Game wardens very active in the area checking. One hook.

Aly1969, it’s good that you’re making sure of legal fishing gear, but asking on social media won’t be nearly as useful as going straight to the regs. There, you’ll find that single barbless hooks are the law in all rivers in BC.

Look at Region 4 info for the Columbia at Castlegar. Also check the provincial level info (where the BC river single barbless hook reg is stated).
