actually, he just sold the last 2 60" manuals (which I originally was looking for) for only $70 a piece. Thought that was pretty good, but I geuss its like everything else you buy, make sure of your prices.
I almost paid $900 for 2 used electric 60" scotty's from the Buy & Sell, and geuss what, price at the store is now $459 - with the swivel base (price from Scotty's)

Last year I bought a Scotty release clip from Ideal - the old red pin on the line type. I have a friend who modifies them so they work much better. Anyway, I paid about twice the going rate at Ideal for a ragged old stock/garage sale item that I later bought another for at Wal-Mart. I didn't know they were still being sold, otherwise I would have waited and checked the prices. It was only a couple of dollars so it's not the end of the world.
If you are in there, check out the Ideal Cafe - great "home-cooked" food.
I second that Wolf i'm a pretty big guy and I have a hard time to finish a soup and sandwich there. Also the food is great nice to know you can still get a great meal for a good price somewhere on V.I.
