So anyone who has bought a hds sounder from harbour Chandler over the las few months has had their name entered into a draw for a hds 10 and structure scan package, just steped in from fishing the salmon fest in Port Alberni and checked the answering machine... I WON!!!!! Now I gotta figure out what to do with my 2 month old hds 7 and structure scan

please tell me alernifisher...how do you use your structure scan I have a 7 hds with structure scan..thought it would be good for hali
We usually fish in about 200' on the gravel.....structure scan shows me nothing???
tried it off Muir on the drop off,7- - 100' and told me nothing as well.
I am about ready to give up on it.
The sounder otherwise is GREAT

structure only works in shallow water, 100' is pushing it in dead calm water. 50-70' is really their range

I love my structure scan in the Fraser River but never use it in the chuck.
