Humminbird 858C HD???

any guys running that unit around here??

im looking at picking one up, with a nav card in it. Just wondering if its a good unit or not. I currently have a 541 Humminbird Fish Finder that I want to upgrade for coastal fishing trips.

Had one didn't like it found it not user friendly. Went back to lowrance and haven't looked back since

I have an 1159,newer bigger version of an 858. It's fine, works. Came on the boat, probably not what I would have picked but it does the job. As said the user interface is clunky, but I'm guessing you are getting a good deal on older tech... So it's easy to say what's better, but it most likely won't be close to the same price.
