It's always a laugh to see people lining the river bottom with lead/constantly rigging and re-rigging.
I haven't bought pencil lead for probably 10 years now and this is why-I fill rubber tubing with silicon and slip it over the lead it's as simple as that.
Fished as a sliding rig</u> it bounces over any rocks that are out there and does a decent job of slipping out of wooden snags too-try it you'll be Happy you did.
