How to get rid of your old fridge

Well for years in places I lived in we got new fridges and the old ones got picked up by BC Hydro. But I discovered that there is not a single fridge on CraigsList for under $150. So I listed mine for $100. I have recived so many emails I can't believe it. Mine new fridge is coming on Friday and the old one is out of here. I can't wait to have a ice machine again.

The Restore here in town sells working fridges without any history for $75 IF they have them in stock which is rare.

A friend just had a contractor do a kitchen renovation in the fall which included a new ice-making fridge and hardwood floor. He got back from a 2 week vacation to find a pinhole in the water line had ruined the new floor and done some damage to to the room below. Insurance covered it, but still. I'm glad I recently learned how to fill and load the ice cube trays.
