How to clean a Krippled K Spoon

I think they are chrome plated, try Silvo polish ??
i guess you could get them replated, but the cost would be more than the spoon is worth.

Does that CLR work ? make it a little more concentrated ? Heard that somewhere...

scrap them into an envelope and address it to me, then throw them in a mailbox,
that outta take care of them for you, you don't need the hassle of cleaning them

Guess none of you were on ebay this week? 10 Kippled K spoons for starting bid of $19.99 Buy it now $27. Brand new..

Oh I bought them.... :) All of them.

Not sure what to do with these used ones now. Still hopping to fix them up and use them though.

Ya beat me to it....I'll take em...just working the price down. LOL I did have one of mine that was a little beat so painted one side, works great. To clean it I used a product called never dull - its a cloth or cotton like product that you rub the metal to polish it. Worked OK.

White vinegar, salt in a bowl mix it so it is liquid.
Toss the spoon in leave for awhile, make sure it is completly covered, take out rinse with water.

If the chrome is flaked off you could try some lure tape/foil. Check out some of the posts on the fishtactics website by Hooker.

If the spoons have a magnetic quality then they are not stainless. Put a magnet to them if they stick they are tin not stainless

I think most spoons and old metal dodgers are chromed brass.

Just tried this method with a bunch of Mcnight spoons that were really tarnished up. Turned out beauty! These spoons might catch some fish.:)
