Hey there again Prawnstars!
After reading all the notes and comments, seems like the 18" traps are the way to go.
How do you bait them if they don't fit a regular Scotty can?

Pretty sure the 18" Bauer is designed to fit a regular Scotty plastic bait jar. Not sure what your question is - what to use to hold the bait or what to use as bait?

I use the narrower cylindrical bait jars (not tapered) in my 18” square wire traps. I’m not sure what brand mine are but I believe I may have bought them from Trotac and they don’t have the center enclosure. Because of this I just wire the bait jar lid to the bottom of the trap near the center and screw the jar onto it after it’s filled.
I use these jars:

Edit: I also drill a lot of bigger holes in the jar for maximum scent dispersion.

Kufa has a range of sizes. The 6" tall one fits nicely, still leaves room for a 4-5 lb weight.
