I didn't watch the whole thing but wonder what kind of battery bank is driving those drive wheels?... damn cool concept though..

Who knows. But i wouldnt need much and wouldn't care!. Put it on a flat bed and launch at any ramp on any tide any where would be worth the dough for me!

Now that makes all the difference in the world...

I want one....(will never have one) but think of the options.

What did you have in mind? Something like taking it down the Pat Bay Hwy, blow through the ticket booths at Swartz Bay showing them the middle finger and then launching it off one of the ramps and then on to Vancouver to see a game. Then come home the same night? ;)

Well if you had one you could...... And with three wheels parallel parking would be a snap in downtown Van..

marula go back to the site and give us the top land speed... it may be totally doable.

Icky bicky is insuring quads now... Why wouldn't they do a tri pod Zod

There is a guy that sells them here on the island I have talked to him on the ferry. They start at $160,000.

I remember seeing a guy from Vancouver Island at the Abbotsford Outdoor show about 3 years ago who displayed a similar craft although his was all aluminun.

Pulling up on a nice west coast sandy beach and having a shore lunch.

I saw one at the Crofton boat ramp in November. Not very fast on land and rather noisy I found. Cool concept for rescue though.

Saw these on a boat going down the Island Highway a year or so ago. The boat was on a boat trailer behind a truck:p. Thought they were really cool looking, and really wanted to see them operate.

Awsome idea for some of the smaller island residents that have beach access but no good protected moorage, could run the boat up the beach and out of harms way, could even have a boat garage on land to keep it completely out of the weather.

Probably a few bucks I would imagine. BOAT= Bring Out Another Thousand....

$160,000 bucks??? is that the wheels only or the boat included??? Didn't see your post Owen before I posted. Oops.
