A few guys asked me about the build and wanted to see pics It's my buddies boat so I help out when I can with the build. Alot of work done and more left to be done. Here are the before pics. It's the older 23.5 sedan hull. Classic westcoast boat with gorgeous lines. Plan is to pod and throw on Suzuki 4 stroke power.

Hey Kelly, pic's didn't attach. Interested to see how far you got today in the project.

Having some technical difficulties with phone. I'll post pics up in a few. Really impressed with the work they've done so far. Literally building her from the bottom to the top.

Here are the original pics.

This is the scene i came upon today. The hulls been stripped and in the process of being redone. The boat was in great structural shape floor stringers ect. Everything else though is being basically redone to customized specs.

Huge dance floor on these things and deep cockpit.

Here are the seat boxes that were built today. Going to fully glass/gelcoat them inside/outside to use as a storage and fishbox.

I wish the pics were bigger and not (some) upside down

Looks like a cool project!

Haha that's funny because I thought it was the hull you were going to rebuild last year since it was in black creek. I even asked my buddy the name of the guy he bought it off. I guess whoever you sold it to didn't want to redo it. It's a sweet hull but as you say like most project boats it will take alot of work/money. Trade back for the osprey?

An aluminum pilothouse similar to Ian mcdonalds rig would be unreal but also a ton of $$$. I think he plans to stick with the original hardtop for now. The 6"2 or 6"4 headroom is manageable. He is getting a radar arch and rocket launchers fabricated. Should look good bouncing out on bigbank.

Cool thread Kelly. I love project threads. Have you guys thought about raising the floor and making her self bailing?.

Mentioned that to him when we got together Saturday. It is easily done as the floor is already well above water line. The guys have some good ideas on how to make her a great charter vessel. My guess is she won't look anything like the former boat.
