Ditto to the threaded fastener making the connection. This was Brando’s welding/fab handiwork and advice on my boat. 5/16 ” bolts, tap, washers both side done by me.

As you can see all you need is a tab welded like this on the bottom of the pod then get a round zinc or a square one also bond it to your trim tabs any metal should be bonded so your pod and trim tabs dont get destroyed.

Only thing I dont see is a welded tab for a zinc ? you really need to zinc these pods !!!!

its a very important thing to do ever seen that brand new nice tin boat that was parked in sydney that never got used in a boat shed? they found it sunk and a total right off as it was that badly corrodied...

Went good. Motors are still in break-in couldn't get to carried away !
