i am hopeful for the moon, but I am saying it tops within the next 2 months at $40

Was over 36 this morning. I think it will hit $100. Really hard to know though. No one really knows how many shorts are out there. Apparently there were some due today, Hedgies likely pulling a short ladder attack to dip the price and save a few bucks.

I think it's all BS. The shorts that were there are now gone and new shorts have arrived and are making a killing currently. It's all a joke. But kinda fun.

If you read the DD from the reddit guys its all positive. The negative stuff out there, mostly put out by the mainstream media, talks about AMC being a terrible company that no one should invest in blah blah blah. They completely neglect to talk about the massive short interest in the company.

They are pumpers, beware of the reddit guys, have a statagy and an exit point. Don’t get too caught up in it

Sure a lot of pumpers then. I'm not into it for much. Won't be sad if I lose it all. I haven't figured out a precise exit plan. Basically wait for a massive spike and then sell on the way down. If that never happens so be it. Right now I look at it as the best lotto ticket I have ever bought. I will likely get months or entertainment out of it. 649 is so boring.

I was into Baytex a few months back and sold after a 50% gain. Bought back in after a bit of a dip and it's a double at this point. Only a few K into it and always wish you had bought more but nice to make a few bucks on it.
I only make the right plays on small positions.

Baytex going strong for new need an oil exit point
cenovus, arc and tourmaline are my main oil plays, all up significantly and having a great day today, also have some tamarack , having an exit strategy is definitely needed, I don't have mine quite in place yet, lol, but will start some trimming fairly soon.

yeah idk wait to see if oil can go up more or get out. May take half out its a cyclical play so gotta get out at some point

yup all these commodity plays are trades, some a lot longer than others, I'm sitting on a whack of wef (western forest products) I did clip some nice profits but I think lumber will settle out at a much higher price than where it started it's run, it got way too high and futures are still dropping but the fundamentals and a real shortage are real, oil is real tricky right now with Iran possibly coming back on stream with a nuke deal and opec still has a fair bit of production shut in, I still think oil will stay above 60 for a while which is great for cdn oil stocks. It could turn on a dime though, lol. being retired has me a lot more conservative than I used to be but I still trade a fair bit, just can't keep my fingers off the buy and sell buttons lol.

Dammit. Keep taking profits from AMC and now I don't have enough to enjoy this ride lol. Can't complain I guess it was a fun trip. If there's a dip I'll probably re-enter.

For those talking about exit strategies I was wondering if any of you use trailing stop losses to secure some of the gains should a stock take a dive? I use it occasionally but was thinking of using it more on some of my oil stocks.
