Hooks for mooching rig.

I am wondering what people are using for hooks on their mooching rigs. I am headed to Prince Rupert soon and tied a dozen rigs with eagle claw 4/0 pro v octopus hooks. Not sure I like them.

A friend just got back from that area and the Guides were all using 10 to a pack Anchovies for Chinook and a few as big as 40 pounds

Average size 18 - 22 largest 28 pounds for them.

Perfect. Hope to hook into some. First time going with my own boat. I’ll be happy with a couple this trip.

And yes cut plug herring is the hope
