Great question. I can only assume if the boats that went out to get the herring will also deliver to Victoria, then yes, it would be delayed too. However, you should probably post on the Facebook page to confirm.

CBC did a story on the sea lions affecting the herring catch. They are trying to use two dummy boats as dummy boats, all the lights are on, and they’re making all kinds of noise and banging the sides of the hull to attract the sea lions. Further away they have the boat that’s fishing with the lights off and trying to keep the noise down so hopefully catch the herring that way without the sea lions intruding as much.
