Hello everyone!
I'm new to the saltwater arena but I've never heard of anyone trying an old bass trick on other species.
I know you guys often use the rubber Squid lures, I think you call them Hoochies?
A bass fishing trick is to stuff the inside of a rubber tube jig with pieces of Alkaselzer tablet large enough so they fit tight inside the tube body. When the lure hits the water it creates a stream of bubbles behind the lure that can make the difference between a strike and an ignored lure.
Has anyone tried this tactic on Salmon and other fish species?
