Not the best lake for fishing, The lake is over 60 miles long, and unless you have a fast boat with a fish finder you probably wont have much luck. At least I havent. But there is camping at some small lakes up the east side of Harrison and a rubber boat or canoe works well on the small lakes. Also Aug is usually a hot month so fishing always drops off in the heat. Good luck getting a campsite though. Never a bad day to spend time with the kids fishing, but they do like action {as we all do}
