Harrison Hot Springs - Can someone explain this??

I was at Harrison Hot Springs two weeks ago. I went to the springs found on the west end of the lake at the end of the gravel road, past the hotel and spa.

I took a close look into the run off pool...

Can someone explain to me how fish can survive, and possibly reproduce in the hot spring water, which is 156F or about 60C.

I counted 5 different species, all uniquely coloured. All fish were 2" or smaller, and one in specific was a glowing fluorescent blue, in broad daylight.

Can someone explain this phenomenon, it has me baffled!

Did they ruin this when they put in the waste water treatment plant road? Exploring here for a few days.
