just got back from hardy, lucked out on the weather for sure, after fishing one afternoon and the next day we were able to boat 5 springs 2 30's 1 20 and a couple teens, we took a tide change to jerk some hali at pine island and got a easy limit losing a monster the thing just kept going I was trying to turn him around and I pulled the hook out wasn't to worried about it I was already limited for spring and we got 4 nice chickens in less than an hour,

so Cuba Libre is the new legend of the Quatse campground I was told the story of his 260 pound hali more than once

Serengeti i gave you a call on the radio 68 and 69 Thursday but you were probably out of range we only saw one or two boats we're we were I was going to let you know we were into some springs, we were moored right across from you in 21 a but you guys were never there when we were.

So all in all a great trip can't wait to go back best place on earth.

Oh sorry. Wasn't out on Thurs...was on Wednesday though if you were out. Glad to hear you had a great trip...next time up our way give me a shout!!!

In a line between Vansittart Is and the Storm Islands. It is realatively open water, so be careful . You can get some nasty combinations of tides and wind there.

i started with choves then we got a bunch of live needle fish I threw those in the brine and they were the real killers

THANKS CUBA LIBRE,I'LL hone in to that area on my gps,I'm running in a 17 whaler so real early in the morning may be the only time to get there and back!!

Word to the wise-- Pine Island isnt the only place to fish butts... study your chart ( watch out for RCAs) If one place does not produce-- MOVE!!!!
