How come its Happy New Years?....Not many people are happy new years morning waking up all fuzzy headed wondering where the meds are so you can go back to sleep.

I am!!! I was in bed by 1030 and on the water by 9am!!!

The neighbour with the 12 ga and the fireworks did disturb my beauty rest for a bit!!

Woke up this morning around 9ish the phone rings and its GLG asking me out for a Fish. Happy New Year!! Weathers good so away we go. We head up North to our friendly neighbors in CR and launch at Salmon Point to do a little Winter Spring fishing. Started the aft with a undersize and a pop off fairly quick. Trolled some more about a half hr later another strike Im reeling her in and it decides to take off just before I handed it over to GLGs Uncle at some point prob during the turnover it got off. About 45 min later another solid pop off. GLG hands it over to his Uncle and away it went good solid fight it was peeling line like a nice fish does. We weighed it at that dock at 18 lbs after being bled nice Winter Spring. High Fives all around. We were running Chovie and the Western Producer Gils fav spoon at 165-180. Great way to ring in the New Year!!

I did not know you are my neighbour CL!? lol sorry for keeping you up. Got out prawning at the crack of 11 with fish lifter Dave. Got working on todays headache early. Happy new years to all!
