Only eight more days until we go to Ucluelet. We would like to catch some halibut this trip. In the past I have done OK, but not great catching them. We mostly jig for them using a 16 to 24 ounce jig. I have never used spreader bars, but own a few. I hear that a large white Burkley scented worm fished on the bottom with a spreader bar works well. Would anyone care to share any info how to best catch hali's with me. Thanks in advance.
