Halibut meeting in Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows

The BC Sportfishing Coalition is planning to host a halibut town hall meeting at Meadow Gardens Golf Course February 21 starting at 7 p.m. The cost is free and there will be a short presentation, discussion and ideas on how we can all help change this injustice to the Canadian public.

Some may not be aware that our MP for Maple Ridge/ Mission (which includes Pitt Meadows), Randy Kamp, is the Parlimentary Secretary to Fisheries Minister Gail Shea. I have asked him on two occassions to let me know what dates he is available so we could have him attend and speak if he wishes. I guess my emails to his Ottawa email address are not getting to him as he has not replied as of yet. So we have decided to go ahead and book the date and if he can make it great, if not that's his loss. Hopefully someone from his office can attend so the message can get back to him directly.

Please tell your friends about this important meeting and plan on attending yourself.

Thanks,

double trouble

bad date for me,, goin to cuba for my 40, please others represent!!!!

We're hoping for a good turnout. We've invited a few politicians to hear the story directly rather than through DFO and their bias. The meeting afterall is in the Parliamentary Secretary for the Minister of Fisheries riding, Randy Kamp.
