Halibut fishing on my seadoo!

managed to get my first fish on the seadoo Fishpro. It was a blast!

Nicely done, good thing it was a very docile hali when it was sitting on the surface or it might have gotten interesting for you. Great eats there

In all my years of halibut fishing in BC, I HAVE NEVER SEEN a halibut come to the boat, be netted and it not go wild!
Very strange indeed.

When I saw you take your phone out for the pic I was envisioning the Hali, net, and your phone all gone in the drink within 2 seconds of pure madness. LOL glad it worked out though. Legendary

Lol, yeah I should have waited for the pic, it could have gone south very easily.

Used to fish hali out of my ocean going kayak. Always speared them with the spear attached to a float.
