Anyone on the mid to south island want to split a hali charter? Or three ways on one ?? Home from 27-2nd and i am dying up here seeing all the hali pic's , been a couple years since i caught one

If I were you I would give Justin from Tailspin Charters a call down here, and see if you could split that. He has been sort of the only one doing Hali with salmon fishing going on and has been doing well.

Gord Martin of Foghorn Charters knows how to catch hali around Victoria too!

Currents don't look great for those dates on SVI. Saturday the 27th looking the best. I am interested in sharing it with you Jeff if you can find a guide that will fish hali on your dates. I might know another guy who will go as well. Both Tailspin and Foghorn have good reps.

Looks like 28-4th , i cannot fly till midnight on 26th, would love to go with No Bananas but i have a feeling he is booked up , keep ya posted

That's why I didn't recommend others like wolf..no bananas or last chance. Most are booked and salmon fishing only.

Ya guess this is something i should have planned sooner , wasnt able to make any calls as i was given er 18 hrs straight today .. Boat gas has to come from somewhere...

Sept 6-13 are the best tides for the South Island for a while.
