If anyone would be kind enough to share a couple of spots or general areas at the 3 mile and 7 mile banks out of Bamfield to get me going on some hali hunting I would be very grateful.
Not looking for your all time secret honey holes,just something to get me on the banks and in the target area.

I've never fished off shore but finally have a chartplotter so feelsafer now going out to the close banks at least next tuesday.

Thanks alot for any and all info you guys care to share with me.

Rats nose! look for it on the GPD looks like a rats nose! thats the only place i know of! i think its out of bamfield even though we went out of UKEE

I am quite sure the better Hali would out at Rats or BB, but based on where you want to fish, you're pretty much there already at about 3 miles off the mouth? Look for the edge where it drops off, you can see on your chart.

Hi: Go straight out and vear right a little too about 180 ft mark and start fishing. Try and stay around that 180 works for me but you have to fish for them. The latter it goes I think the further you have to go out.
