GPS Tracker

Has anybody installed a GPS tracker onto their boat. I was thinking if it’s worth putting it on my new boat when I get it.
If anybody has put 1 on what is a good brand to buy. I would assume a wired GPS Tracker would be better than battery power.

We use UplinkGPS works great. Have them on all of our company trucks and have it on our Tigé wakeboard boat. They have a hardwire version and a unit that just plugs into obd2 port.

just had the BRNKL system installed on one of our workboats and it is amazing ! Cant say enough good about it ! all works off the cell phone , great monitoring, sends me a picture from the boat every morning, live tracking, alarms, bilge pump monitoring.
