It's no different than the idiots that move red sided shinners around while ice fishing! Guys have been taking the shinners and using them for bait in lakes that have only Pennask Rainbows, unfortunately Pennask Rainbows mostly eat insects, and freshwater shrimp not other fish!. We used to fish Greenlee lake by Canim Lake, It used to have beautiful marol shoals and Pennask Rainbows to 12-14lbs. Now milfoil weed covers most of the shoals and there are red sided shinners in the lake. Now it's stocked with Blackwaters I believe. Their fun but don't they give you the hang time that those big Pennasks used to. I miss fishing those shoals and seeing those big tanks crusing around in 30 ft. of water.
