Going Rate For Guide

Just out of curiousity what is the going rate for a guide, plus his own boat, bait etc?

I charge $1000 per day for offshore, $800 per day inshore, and $95 per hour during the winter. If you want to hire a guide to go out in your own rig, you may have a problem, because, I know, that a big part of my program is how I have my rig and gear setup.

Cruiser guide,$90 per hr, min 5 hrs in Campbell River, $5 per hr for each addional person. Whaler guides around $72 for 2 persons. Tight Lines,,,,,,,,,,BB

Has your question been answered, SG? If it is your boat, fuel, gear, bait and lunch, couldn't you charge a party of three $800-1000, and pay a knowledgeable, qualified local part-timer(student, fireman, teacher etc..) $200 plus a chance for a tip?
