Yes, I applied them to my last two boats - a 20’ Regal bow rider and a 17’ Stratacraft. I wanted to be able to beach my boat without damaging the keel and this product did the job. Mine was a peel and stick product

Yeah I use one Keel guard from mega ware.
Good product !

Can you expand on the proper hull prep

On a glass hull you need to sand off the gel goat surface to a dull matte and clean thoroughly with alcohol in order to get a good bond.

What Scott said. You just have to follow the instructions with the product for a good result.

One thing to keep in mind. If you use keel rollers, they can damage the keel guard, both when resting on it, but even more if they snag on the keel guard on launching

No; when you’re up on plane most of it isn’t even in the water
