Did it.
Keep us posted on this side as some us would make a day trip or overnighter to meet more of the members!
It has been done before at the 6 mile pub. Have even had a separate room for it.

It was good last year at 6 mile. I believe Little Hawk set it up.
Just takes someone to actually book a venue and date and then everyone can block the slot in the calendar. But as the Roman's said "Tempus Fugit", so needs a noble volunteer to get on it, or the holiday period will be here and everyone will have other comittments....

Fri evening is probably optimal as fewer have to work on a Sat. and this time of year that includes guides. Saturday is also a night where many tend to have previously booked or family obligations.

I'm in! Thanks Dave for stepping up. They'll ask you for your credit card # to hold it. They said they wouldn't put it through but they did. When I called them on it they made the correction immediately.
As far as timing goes, this could work good; it's right after our Nov-27th gig.
Finally got moved in to the new place in Metchosin. Still a mess - boxes and **** everywhere - but I gotta' say I LOVE IT HERE!
I'm 5-mins to Pedder Bay now. Yee-ha!
New manifolds for the Merc, a little upholstry work and I'll be back at'er soon enough.
