Ganion downrigger snubber

Anyone know where to get ganion for the snubber on a downrigger in the comox area? I've tried 200 lb mono but seems a bit susceptable to wear and tear.

Down boys-your testosterone is showing( and maybe your memories of life in the fast lane). Are there different strengths or types of Gannion? I will try Northern rope on Mon. don't want to drive all the way to coombs for 50 feet of Ganion or even a peak. (old age or failing memory) -take your pick.
