Fuel tank-above deck and aluminum. Anyone have one?

I'm thinking of getting a aluminum above deck fuel tank made. It would mount along the motor well/false transom. It's just an idea I have. I saw it once on another aluminum skiff.
My reasoning is since I run a 40l/12gal day-tank and cary extra fuel in a secondary 20l day tank....followed up with actual jerry cans.....well it makes getting on the ferry a pain.
They see (Transport Canada) the two day tanks as "jerry cans" and my actual spares ( real jerrys)are to be filled with water.

So, long story short, having a built in tank, would allow me to carry the spare fuel and not run into the Transport Canada issues.

I can't realistically get this under the deck. It will need to be above and fastened down.

Has anybody done this or had a tank made?

Cheers,
Trevor

I have a plastic tank mounted above deck. No reason you can’t get one made and mounted above deck. Mines in the bow to get some more weight up front. The plastic tank is nice because you can see the fuel level
