And my F350 diesel gets really thirsty in the summer when I need to haul my boat around the island to slaughter salmon that aren’t in a closed area due to a couple of orcas. Do you think that will help?

The price of all petroleum based fuels has jumped nearly 40 % in the last few weeks.
This combined with the ever rising cost of groceries has put a huge strain on most BC households.
It would appear that provincial tax combined with carbon tax pushes 40 cents a litre.
It's time to give consumers a break and ease some of that tax.

Was 1.38 or 48 usd. down in Bellingham for diesel a few days ago. When it was 2.67 up here in town.

Declare you bought gas when you went down and hope they don’t ask how much! Unless they are having a bad day they should wave you through.

Diesel in Mill Bay was 2.33L yesterday which is down from the 2.60L I saw in Vic

My brother in Australia reports their gas prices are $2.70-$2.80, diesel is about $3.20 and getting hard to find. Rural area and independent gas stations are running short. Farmers struggling to access or afford fuel for planting season.

Australia gets most of its liquid fuels from international spurces via Singapore refineries, only two small ones still operating domestically. They have enormous natural gas reserves but not much accessible oil. Rationing seems likely within a month. Lots of the world outside north America will be feeling similar stresses, we are relatively sheltered here.

2.249 for diesel after the bcca discount at Shell in Courtenay. $135 to drive the camper Victoria to Hornby and then courtenay. Cheaper than a vacation rental, but more expensive than a Ford Lightening and a big tent.
