Two days ago a station close to me was showing 1.79.9 L but yesterday it was 1.85.9... Nice of them to bump it up before we are suppose to be getting a carbon tax break.

As soon as Carney implements the industrial carbon tax, gas may be lower but we’ll pay for it one way or another. It’s just a shift in where we pay. And it will be implemented. But if course we’ll be saving the planet…..apparently.

long term the industrial carbon tax is a good thing. even if you dont care about air quality, industrial carbon tax allows us to sell goods into europe without trade barriers from the EU going into effect. of course it will be partially or full passed down but its necessary if our future trading partners require it (and they will) since the USA is becoming non viable as a trading partner for everyone.

$1.38 at Costco in Kamloops for regular.

I drive a diesel so track that a bit closer and the variance through town is normally a bit ridiculous, though even more so today (55c). GasBuddy has saved me some $$$.

I sometimes wonder if Super Saver pumps have flow meters a calibrated a bit high lol. Typically Mobil is w/n a couple cents though.

Europe buys energy from country's with ZERO carbon tax... Not even basic human rights..
