Be interesting if we can see gas prices below 1.50 again? https://globalnews.ca/news/11106376/final-day-consumer-carbon-tax-bc-gas-prices-soar/amp/
Some around nanaimo did the same, if it does go down it won't be for longTwo days ago a station close to me was showing 1.79.9 L but yesterday it was 1.85.9... Nice of them to bump it up before we are suppose to be getting a carbon tax break.
We’re never going to get a break. Two days ago a station close to me was showing 1.79.9 L but yesterday it was 1.85.9... Nice of them to bump it up before we are suppose to be getting a carbon tax break.
As soon as Carney implements the industrial carbon tax, gas may be lower but we’ll pay for it one way or another. It’s just a shift in where we pay. And it will be implemented. But if course we’ll be saving the planet…..apparently.
Europe buys energy from country's with ZERO carbon tax... Not even basic human rights..long term the industrial carbon tax is a good thing. even if you dont care about air quality, industrial carbon tax allows us to sell goods into europe without trade barriers from the EU going into effect. of course it will be partially or full passed down but its necessary if our future trading partners require it (and they will) since the USA is becoming non viable as a trading partner for everyone.
100%.. Hard to be thankful to the same party that implemented the tax.Must be stupid cheap in Alberta now.
Bet they still hate Liberals anyway.
