Forum Updates - Smart Phones Issues

Hey Mods/Admin,

I have a question for you. Ever since you did the updates this week I have not been able to "log in" or "stay logged in" on my Blackberry. It was not a problem before this latest update but now if I type in my username and password it won't log me in or give me an error. If I try and click the little box that says "remember me", half of the log in area disappears so you can't log in.

I know over on BCFR when they did some updates with this same forum software that there were some issues they had to figure out with viewing on a smartphone. I'll try my IPod Touch later today and see if it works but on a newer Blackberry that "did" work.....can't seem to get it to log in anymore. I can view the forum as a 'guest' but not as a 'user'.

Try clearing the phones browser cache. Most phones cache pages to help load faster and to say bandwidth usage. If there was a cookie change then your browser may be caching the old one.

I had already tried cleaing the cache but this is more of an issue as to how the "log in" displays.

If I zoom right in on the log in /password/remember me section on the top right hand corner of the screen it just won't work. I type in my username, password and if I try and click the little 'remember me' box about 1/5th of the right side of the screen just disappears. Imagine if you drew a line straight down your screen halfway through the 'password' box....nothing will display to the right of that.

I finally gave up trying the "remember me" box and if I type in my name and password it won't log me in at all......and the cache is absolutely clear, cookies are gone etc.

Does your browser side scroll? Sounds like a browser sizing issue.

Ha ha....yes. I am not THAT "newb" to technology! I do sell Medical Technology solutions for a living.

LOL, sorry, as I was not trying to imply anything. I don't have any issues viewing from my phone.
