I have two fishing rods I purchased a few years back with the intention to catch and release fish for sport. I learned from the forum how hard that is on the fish, so it never happened. These are unused, maybe a scuff here or there from moving them out of my way, but essentially they are as new.

Well go buy new then the jigging rod and reel $670+ braided line approx$750 + tax= $840
I think his prices are good for products that look in good shape. I think you’re just pissed because you want them but maybe not enough dollars in your wallet. A guy can ask what ever he wants for his stuff doesn’t mean you should nock him down for it. Make him an offer maybe he will take it or maybe not. Sometimes it’s best just to move on then not think and type out a snide comment.

Plenty of dollars here bub. But i have been burned on so called "new condition" used purchases before and everyone is entitled to their opinion.
