Fishing with my Daughter

My daughter Eden is named for Eden Island in the Broughton Archipelago, where we used to boat camp in an open 16' Skookum Sealer. We upgraded to a 23' Hourston so we all have somewhere dry to sleep and a stove to cook on. Nearly 30 years later, Eden visits her island every year with us, and we usually catch a few fish -- not where we caught our first 2 halibut before it became an RCA, long before the max was 82 cm! Its the best part of my boating life.

That’s so cool! I want those memories with my kids too

Both my daughters were named after rapids on the Thompson River…. They both took their first steps on the banks of the Kispiox…. Taking sons and daughters to fishy waters is the coolest part of parenting!IMG_0070.jpegIMG_0078.jpegIMG_20180929_180152.jpeg
