Not heard anything from Nanaimo lately but with all the runs pretty much at an end you might start seeing the feeder springs in the next month or so.

I have heard of some nice springs taken right in departure bay in the winter but i think they are few and far between and don't come till jan-feb.Also there is a submerged commercial crab line out there that i have got caught up in a few times.And never in the same spot.But good crabbing this time of year.

I seen a wright up in a fishing mag about dep bay and people catching winters off the oil tankers....... M.T. WALLET I would head out to the light house heard they are nailing them out there big time .
