What would be a normal/average season for a guide to work at a fishing lodge?

I understand that Some lodges only operate July and August, some longer, depending on location and runs targeted.... but generally speaking, what would you think is an "average" season for a guide at a lodge for any/all species.

Be VERY aware...
If you can, get some type of guarantee concerning the amount of days they require your services for. Be firm about it too because, if they don't have the days you won't be wasting your season. They OFTEN exaggerate early in the season about bookings and, are ALWAYS hopeful there will be walk ins and in season bookings, which are rare.
2 seasons I have sat out a lot of June because of 'seniority'. Last August was dismal for the outfit (in Ukee) I was with as well.
Other than that... lotsa fun putting hours on some other guy's rig.
