Fishing around Nanaimo

Has anyone been out around Nanaimo lately? I was planning on going out but I have not seen anyone on the water or heard about how the fish are biting. Last time out it was Seal's 3-0 me.

I have talked to guy who is out a lot and picking up few in Departure Bay. Even a couple over 20#.
