Fish of a lifetime!

Buddies and I (green hat) went out with Great River Adventures (thanks Sean) yesterday for my first attempt at Sturgeon. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. Measured at about 9'6", approx weight 500 lbs. what an awesome experience. Tag team fishing, 2 hours to land. Hope to get to do it again, bucket list sign off....

Thanks guys for the congrats! I love bonking fish and enjoying the feed, but this was so nice to see slowly swim away. I am sure that we were nothing more than a minor nuisance for this guy. Was told that the fish was probably 75 - 80 years old. Wow. What a pleasure. hope to get to do this again, not too soon though, hard on the back!
