Find me a Grady White 228 Seafarer

Lots of boats get water from the self balling through hulls, mine included,I put new ones on with the flaps and all good now. The other issues are normal stuff for old boats , 4 strokes are heavy and makes them stern heavy, the stalling at idle they should fix,get a survey done for sure, and a mechanical
That 300 on that boat is overkill, lol

My seafarer with 6 people in it an 250 zuk on the back, kicker and cooler. I loved gas tank to front compartment. No problem with the scuppers draining. 300zuk and 250 zuk are the same engine with different tuning.

She’s siting low, scuppers is a non issues imo, easy fix, price to pay for self bailing, like I said mine did the same, I just replaced with new ones, also moved a bit of stuff out of the back. He’s saying water coming in the deck, no problem with draining

Here is a picture of the back with no people on board, no kicker and probably not a full tank of gas.

Weird set up
Is all I would say, need to go for a drive and look at that thing, I work close buy, maybe I go have a look, make it look like I want to buy it jus for a look, looks clean. Is the boat on a trailer, or moored at the marina down bellow ???

Engine stalls while at idle, might be due to compression? I personally would say the sea trail was a failure and withdraw the offer. Unless their service manager can fix the problem and give a reasonable explanation and subsequent sea trail. New power is likely 40k for a 300?
I heard 55gs for the 300 zuk duo prop now

Very nice but I/o is why it’s not selling , it’s been for sale for a long time, couple of Carolina classic for sale too with I/o not selling
Yes I remember this boat from a few years back, listed in west Vancouver for 67k. 24° deadrise ad very clean. I still want it, lucky for me it doesn’t fit in my slip at the cabin 😂

The Seafarer with the factory pod is normally dry so if the transom shows moisture then something is seriously wrong. I have a 1999 Seafarer, I took a huge chance buying through Verus Auctions 5 1/2 years but got really lucky. They are normally great hulls.

I know that boat. I didn't know you were on here Brad.

What are you seeing that I'm not with this linked ad? A 25 year old boat, no hardtop, located 5300+ km away...and listed by POP Yachts ( a notoriously sketchy online boat broker outfit) all for $34,000USD ($46,000CDN) plus transportation and import fees. It does have a newer motor...
It’s now $23,800 USD. It’s a guide boat
