Fill A Charter -- South Island

Hi All

Last year there was a thread about people wanting to go on a fishing charter, but who wanted to find others to go with, to help spread the cost and maybe find some new fishing buddies in the process.

I am restarting this thread for 2009. You can make connections here and approach charter companies, or the charter guys can review this thread and follow up with you if they want.

I can help arrange charters in Port Renfrew, Sooke, and Victoria. Right now I have two guys from Washington looking to fish Renfrew in mid to late July, weekday or weekend, looking for 2 others. Anyone want to join them? If so, post here or PM me directly.

I can help set things up if and when required for Ukee. Will have a couple of partially filled rides upcoming this summer, and the Gentz certainly wouldn't mind some friendly company out on the Big Pond. Will post here as these opportunities arise...

A visitor from Alberta is looking to charter a fishing trip tomorrow or Saturday (March 27/28), out of Victoria or Sooke. Chase salmon, halibut, or both, mostly just wants to get out on the water.

I think he'd like to join up, to share cost and with more fun in a group. So...if anyone is looking to join a local charter tomorrow or Saturday, please PM me.

Unfortunately, the weather report doesn't look all that great, but c'est la vie.

I have dates available on the Nootka Sound side if anyones interested. Also Campbell River and Port alberni in September.

One person looking for 1-3 more people to share a Port Renfrew fishing charter. He wants to go somewhere in Sep 28 to Oct 4. He wants to try for coho first, then out to Swiftsure Bank for halibut.

Cost will be roughly $200-$400 per person, depending on if 1,2,or 3 more people join in the fun.

Fishing is still pretty decent...here's last Saturday's results...
