Roy Orbison had never had a TV special. As a tribute to Roy, Jackson Browne had the idea to bring together Roy and a group of his admirers to put one on. Here's the whole 55 minute concert as filmed for Cinemax. Not only are the backing band and vocalists major stars, but the camera keeps picking out all the A-listers in the audience.
