cut the tow bars off and the Classics run just great opposite a rod with a flasher.
I do use fluro leaders back to a sampo BB swivel, 8' or so. I also make up my own hooks: with the smaller plugs I use a double siwash tie with beads between the hooks. For the 5-7" plugs I use owen eye gami siwash hooks and berkely mcmohn swivels.

Not exactly C River, but when the water browns up just a whisker at..say Ferrer, the 232 reigns sublime..supreme..whatever :)))

doll up the lips (of the plug!!) a bit with Anchovie smelly jelly but DO NOT get that stuff on your sandwich!

Hi all,

Not to distract from this thread but while looking at the "Tomic" link, I ran across this bit at the bottom of the page on running tandem spoons.
http://www.tomiclures.com/rigging/flashers_with_spoons.htm

Has anyone ever tried this??? I have run plugs in tandem for trout in Cowichan Lake with some success so I know the concept works (wee tad in front of a 3" Tomic). Wouldn't the action of the spoons offset or hamper how each spoon would naturally flutter? With the plugs, you run them 4-5" apart from each other so that each still maintains it's own swimming motion but the spoons are linked by only a split ring.

Now back to plugs. Those 232's do look good. As most plugs appear to simulate larger bait fish (herring), has anyone ever run across a plug that would be considerably slimmer, almost Rapala like? I'm thinking that a 3-6" model would more likely represent a needlefish, if we could get the same motion.

Seafood, eat it, then catch more.

Nice!!! I'm sure they would work. That photos brings back memories of fishing Shuswap Lake a long time ago with the Lucky Louies for big Kamloops and Lake Trout.
