Favorite Bottomfish Jig and Size

I'm a big fan of jigging, and was curious what everyone's favorite jig and jig size was? My favorite is the Stingsild 200g (not Stingsilda). It isn't great when the current picks up but I've caught Halibut, Lingcod, Rockfish, Sole, Chinook, Coho, Cabezon, and Kelp Greenling on it.

Depends what I'm fishing for.......

My favorite salmon jigs are different than my bottom fish jigs.....and of those my favorite Ling jigs are different than ones used for other bottom fish......

Also the size and weight of the jig is dependant on how deep I have to go, current and wind at the time, and size of "matching the hatch".

That is the one! I found my first one in my grandfather's tacklebox when he passed away. I caught around 200 fish including around 7 halibut on it, before I lost it. Luckily it came with the packaging with Woolco price tag on it so I could find the brand. Only place I've found them though is in Europe, and one canadian retailer that only sells the 125g nothing bigger.

Floorwalkers in 6 or 8 oz and Do-its in 5 or 7. CCB had/has the Do-its. I like to make assist hooks from old 200lb downrigger braid to get fewer snags.
