Is there an in person option as well? Or is it only virtual? Do we need to have attended a previous one in person to join the virtual?
Cheers

I applaud adding the virtual option and will try to make it! Posting all of the connection details and passcodes here is risky though - Zoom/Teams bombing is a real thing that people do, and could easily derail the meeting. People join up to just disrupt - either by being deliberately offensive, or in this case possibly to push an anti-fishing agenda. Its a PITA but probably safer to get people to at least register their name and emails to get the connection details.

I am really not worried. This is a public meeting anyway.

There isn't anything secretive that they don't already know. In the in person meetings we have had our share of people in past sitting there with not the best interests.

Here is the agenda for the meeting.
In light of DFO's plans to shut down the south coast. I think all area meetings should respectfully ask when the SKRW closures will be lifted for each item on the agenda, and not participate in any of the discussion other than to pass resolutions to have the SKRW closures completely removed.
We should proceed with the elections telling the new executive to tell Ottawa that we will no longer wish to co-operate.

Spring 2025 Meeting Minutes

Can you run the meeting for us then?

Is Mark Frisson not running the meeting? He sent the invitation and agenda. If not will he be reporting back to his bosses that we are now truly pissed off?
DFO needs to hear we have had enough from all fronts, all the time as do all of our MLAs.
