Engine Tune-up

I have a 2010 Suzuki 150 hp engine that requires a spring tune-up. Where/who on the Island would the best place to go? Thanks.

don't want to get into who they think is the best mechanic etc. But Gartside does not even have the basic software to test a Suzuki engine. in order to "tune up" any modern outboard you need to have the software to tell you what the sensors are saying. I would suggest using Sherwood , and be very specific as to what you want. Outboards really need very little to be tuned up and even a hack like me can figure it out. Oil change , new filters oil and fuel , new plugs , change the leg oil. 100 bucks and a youtube video or a 1000 bucks ? I bring the boat in every year to have the computer print out for 40 bucks. If you have any major problems they will show up.

I was going to say Chris at forsche marine in Sidney put he is more Yamaha...But he is really good maybe he does Suzuki too? I him quite a bit when I had an outboard and that guy rarely lets me down. Only problem sometimes is he gets too busy so sometimes you have to wait...

I'm suprized about Garside, they are an authorized Suzuki and Volvo Penta Sales and repair centre. I've always had my Volvo serviced there. I just assumed same good work would apply to Suzuki. Sorry, my bad!
