Heard quite bit about this "Electric Chair" Hoochy from Angelo's. Can someone post a picture? I heard it's a White Purple Haze with a Pink Stripe?

Does anyone have a picture?

I know that Angelo's just rebrands Pacific Net and Twine's Hootchies, but I was in Pacific Net and Twine in Steveston a few weeks back and I couldn't see it...pegs were all full but there were none in the shop. The guy at the counter had no idea..

Thanks...

I believe it's clear with a bright pink strip down bothsides.
Not my first choice of colors but seem to be popular choice with the
people online.

Ask bigredsnapper he loves the gay pride parade these days its all he fishes. Although he will tell you he only fishes black/white

It's like a pink haze but the pink stripe and eyes glow as well. Works good, I've caught a few feeders on them.

I bought a pack of three at Gone fishin and tied one up wth mylar and red hooks. It looks pretty FABULOUS but tried it twice and nothing although nothing else was working either. Kelly took a shining to it and wanted to take it back to Calgary to play with it in the pool with his bearded buddies but I had to say no. I'll tie another one for you guys Kelly next time you're in town. BRS

better way to make an electric chair...just buy a regular purple haze..then get some power bait pink worms...stuff your hoochie..looks killer..but ive had more success with a coyote spoon the last month or so.

We use MB skirts or B2 mini's inside, pink, glow, purple and blue have all been successful. Another option would be to use a glow "Mad Hatter" on the head of any color of hoochy. Mason

id get off hoochies and stick with a coyote spoon and bait. like 10 to 1..for spoons over hoochies. 3.5 ft leader with a super betsy.

i see another die hard betsy boy! Betsy is the way to go!!! And early in the season nov/dec the winters were going wild for hootchies now its mostly bait and the odd spoon!

Thank you for posting a picture. I'll see if they work worth a damn on the East side of the Strait.

Coyote's might out fish hoochies 10-1 on some days in certain places, but it works the other way too. A good fisherman knows both have their time and place. The "electric chair" worked well on the banks last summer for springs and hali's.

roger that chromesweetchrome....totally agree...out this morning at 9...double header on my coyote setups...within 10 mins. just what they like...for now;)

The new Coyotes have gone to crap. The finish sucks, the shape is different, the hook is garbage, the weight of the spoon is different and the finish is no longer as functional. Coyotes are shaker catchers when there's nothing to catch. I've switched to alternative better quality spoons which are equally as productive as the Coyote. I can't understand why the distributor isn't all over it in BC tho?

A properly fished hootchy will keep pace with spoons if there are the right sized fish around.

I agree, different types of tackle have their time and place for use.

I think a lot of commercial fishermen would agree with you there and not just for feeders.

I have a large pack of purple haze and thought I might be able to mark them with pink, maybe a marker or something. Anyone ever try this ?
